Additional Information: A tax lien certificate of purchase (a "CP") may cover unpaid taxes for one or more tax years. The base year for a tax lien CP is the earliest tax year. For Arizona tax liens, the date that a CP is first offered for sale is generally in February of the year that is two years after the base tax year. Arizona tax lien investors may foreclose rights of redemption three years following the year in which the CP was first available for sale. The Purchase Amount for a CP here is the secondary market price times the principal amount, plus accrued interest on the CP, if the seller wishes to charge for accruals. The only way to buy Arizona tax liens at a discount to face value is in the secondary market. After you hit the Submit button, you will be taken to a list of CPs that meet your criteria. Clicking on the plus sign to the left of a listing will give you more detailed information for that particular CP. Clicking on the parcel number will take you to county information on the parcel.
